It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alfred Browning of Smithfield, Rhode Island, who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sonny Browning and Florence Browning (Lawson). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Browning (Zanni); his children, Cheryl Browning and Scott Browning (Denise); his siblings, Chester Browning and Diane Carley; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Kyle, Kayla and Elizabeth Browning.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Church (80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael's Church (80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917). A committal service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Ann Cemetery Church (73 Church St, Cranston, RI 02920).
