He was predeceased by: his spouses, Elinore Dolan (Finnie) and Teresa Dolan (Almeida); his parents, James and Emiline; his son John A. Dolan Jr.; his stepson James Barber; and his grandson Sullivan Schrader.
He is survived by:, Lori Shaw of Groton, CT, Thomas Barber of Westerly, RI and Jospeh Barber. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
