John left this world on January 27, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sayles Gorham and Ruth Gorham (Campbell); his brothers, Bradford Gorham and Dr. Nicholas Gorham; and his wife Barbara Gorham (Nye).
He is survived by: his sister Desire Palmer of Rehoboth, MA.; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Katherine, Julianne Gorham, Allison and Zachary Norton.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Winfield & Sons Funeral Home (571 W Greenville Rd, Scituate, RI 02857). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the North Scituate Baptist Church (619 W Greenville Rd, Scituate, RI 02857).
In lieu of flowers, he requested that donations in his memory be made to the North Scituate Public Library.
