She was predeceased by: her husband James R. Guthrie, MD; and her parents, Charles Waters and Helen Mabel Waters (Paterson). She is survived by: her children, Keith R. Guthrie (Kathleen), Donald C. Guthrie, Ellen G. Smiley (Philip) and Ann G. Hourahan (Donald); and her grandchildren, Benjamin, Trevor Guthrie, Lauren Keisler, Carolyn Smiley DeMott, Jillian Peduto, Glenn Smiley, Neil and Kevin Hourahan. She is also survived by her 12 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of St. John the Divine (10 Church Way, Saunderstown, RI 02874). A reception was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Saint John the Divine (10 Church Way, Saunderstown, RI 02874).
