She was predeceased by: her husband David C. Aschman; her parents, James Rhodes Sheldon and Marjorie Feeter (Chase); and her brother James R. Sheldon, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Elisabeth "Lisa" Bethune of South Kingstown, Marjorie A. Johnston of Wickford, Theodore H. Aschman, II of Cranston and Doris P. Aschman of Narragansett; her brother Irving Sheldon of Saunderstown; her grandchildren, Nathaniel, Elisabeth, Alex, Kat, Sarah and Ben; and her sisters, Peggy Anderson and Louise MacDonald.
