Michaela R. Burke Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michaela R. Burke of Rumford, Rhode Island, who passed away on June 10, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Elmer Burke; her children, Michaela Burke Barry, Bob Burke, Mary Ellen Burke Sosa, Rosie Connors and Paul Burke; her children-in-law, Annie Burke, Jeannie Burke, Bernie Beaudreau and Paul Barry; her parents, John and Margaret; her siblings, Sheila Killian Grimes, Patricia McCrystal Thompson, Anthony "Tony" Rourke, Margaret "Dodie" Burke, Rosemary Franz, John Rourke and MaryJo Reilly; her grandchildren-in-law, AJ, James and Caroline; her son Jesus; the mother of her child Mary; her sons, Saints Anthony, Christopher, Patrick and Jude; and also, Mimi and Ferna Rourke.
Due to Covid, Mimi's funeral service will be private for family.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Mary Ellen Burke Sosa Endowed Scholarship at Rhode Island College.
