She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio Freitas; and her parents, Antonio Matos and Maria Matos. She is survived by: her children, Maria G. Freitas, Tobias A. Freitas (Maria), Afonso Freitas (Patricia), Raymond Freitas (Kim), Robert Freitas (Filomena), Eileen Brandao (Antonio), Teresa Andreozzi (Anthony), John Freitas and Antonio Freitas (Wendy). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers contributions to VNA of Care New England, 51 Health Lane, Warwick, RI 02886 would be appreciated.
