He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Modesto and Maria Estrela Modesto (Raposo); and his siblings, Manuel Ferreira and Maria of Conceicao Gouveia. He is survived by: his children, Oriana Brum of Rumford and Donald Modesto of Rumford; his siblings, Alfred Modesto and Ambrosima Modesto; and his grandchildren, Ryan L. Brum of Rumford and Justin L. Brum of Rumford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
