With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James B. Lappin Sr. of Rumford, Rhode Island, who passed away on November 29, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Lappin (Beauregard); his parents, John Lappin and Sarah Lappin (Boyd); and his siblings, John Lappin and Mary L. Marble.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Lappin Conley of Providence, RI, Martha Soderlund (Bruce) of Riverside, RI, James B. Lappin, Jr. of Rumford, RI and Thomas Lappin (Amy) of Meriden, NH; his close friend Judy Smith of Riverside, RI; his grandchildren, Andrew, Zachary, Kyle, Sadie and Sam; and his great grandchildren, Alistair, McKenzie and Olivia. He is also survived by children learned to swim at Papa.
