We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2023, at the age of 82, Francisco Laurenco Tavares of Rumford, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor; and his parents, Frank Tavares and Mary Tavares (Simas) of Fox. He is survived by: his children, Frank Tavares of East Providence, David Tavares of Seekonk and Dorette Proulx of Rehoboth; his sister Doris Carrier of Seekonk; his nieces, Toni Rose of East Providence and Donna Petit of West Greenwich; his grandchildren, Luke Tavares, Bree Tavares, Kyle Tavares, Liam Tavares, Frank Tavares Jr., Jessica Tavares, Dennis Tavares, Philip Proulx and Victoria Proulx; and his great grandchildren, Addison, Ainslee, Emmy and Sylas.
