He was predeceased by: his wife Roberta M. Mayers (Dixon); and his parents, Ellis V. Mayers, Sr. and Lillian E. Holmes (Jordan). He is survived by: his daughter Jo-Ellen Ferreira (Richard) of Rumford; and his grandchildren, Richard Ferreira, Jr., Courtney Huth (David) and Jaime Burgess (William). He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
