It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Caetano Mello Sr. of Rumford, Rhode Island, who passed away on August 10, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph C. Mello and Mary Mello (Leiter); and his brothers, Joseph Mello, Jr. and Edward C. Mello. He is survived by: his children, Daniel C. Mello, Jr. (Laura) of Cranston and Diane Marie Mello of Rumford; his brothers, Arthur Mello of Seekonk and Frank Mello of Warren; his grandchildren, Andrew, Nicole, Danielle, Justin, Arianna and Schantelle; and his great grandchildren, Lexie, Adam, Mia, Messiah, Gabrielle, Jordan and Elyse. He is also survived by his family, friends.
