He was predeceased by: his parents, Alan Adams and Anna Mae Adams (Sullivan); and his siblings, Alan Adams, Ann Parton and Diane Alden.

He is survived by: his sons, Alan Q. Adams of Riverside and William D. Adams of Riverside; his grandchildren, Alyssa Lynn Adams, Brenna Lee Adams and Zoey May Adams; and his sisters, Alana Simmons of Riverside, Donna Estrella of North Carolina and Caroline Greene of East Providence.
