She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Whalen and Carol Whalen (Lyons). She is survived by: her sons, Anthony Palermo III of Cranston and Brian Palermo of Riverside; her grandchildren, Jayla Palermo, Natalia Palermo, Anthony Palermo IV and Alyanna Palermo; and her siblings, Norma Bettencourt of South County, RI, Colleen Costa of Johnston, Patrick Whalen of Riverside and Joseph Whalen of Riverside. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
