It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John F. Butler Sr. of Riverside, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on December 12, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Butler and Catherine Butler (Hammill). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Butler (Keating); his children, John F. Butler, Jr. (Alison), Erin K. Butler and Andrew R. H. Butler; and his grandchildren, Maeve M. Butler, John "Jack" F. Butler, III and Rose C. Butler. He is also survived by other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name can be made to Knights of Columbus Charities.
