He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty I. McVay (Locke); his parents, Howard W. McVay, Sr. and Marjorie A. McVay (Jellison); his children, Douglas McVay (Cheryl) of Warwick, Paul McVay (Kris) of Riverside and Judy Oberg (Jeffrey) of Barrington; his grandchildren, Christopher McVay (Bex), Derek McVay (Lauren), Jason McVay (Pam), Robert McVay (Amber), Thomas McVay (Briana), Michael Oberg (Tess) and Lauren Dunnells (Garrett); and his brothers, Kenneth A. McVay, Ernest H. McVay and George W. McVay. He was also cherished by seven great-grandchildren.
