Diane L. Garvin Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2025, Diane L. Garvin (Riverside, Rhode Island) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Diane's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Diane's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.

She was predeceased by: her husband James F. Garvin Sr.; her parents, Oliver Sampson and Christine Sampson (Van); and her son Todd A. Garvin. She is survived by: her children, James F. Garvin Jr. of East Providence and Tracy L. Garvin-Oliver of Riverside; and her sisters, Eunice Sampson of Riverside, Mary Michael (Ronald) of Barrington and Amy Shanley (Stephen) of Riverside. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home (350 Willett Ave, Riverside, RI 02915). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
