He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Shabashevich (Khait) and Lipa Shabashevich. He is survived by: his spouse Basya Shabashevich (Litmanovich); his children, Vladimir Shabashevich (Margarita) of Pawtucket and Alla Shabashevich of Warwick; his grandsons, Eric and Elan Shabashevich; and his siblings, Efim Shabashevich and Sofia Klolker (Shabashevich). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
