She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph G. Mistarz; her parents, Waclaw Kuzminski (William) and Franciszka (Francis); and her brothers, Henry W. Kuzminski (Esther) and Jonathan F. Kuzminski.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jo Ellen Mistarz (late Casimiro Giampaolo) of Providence, RI and Susan M. Guetling (Thomas) of Folsom, CA.; and her grandchildren, Dylan C. Guetling of Philadelphia, PA, Lauren N. Guetling of Aurora, CO and Giorgina M. (Jake Saferstein).

Memorial contributions in Virginia's honor may be made to the American Heart Association.
