As Virginia departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Virginia may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Virginia leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Amelia Whyte and Samuel Whyte; and her daughter Cheryl Akins. She is survived by: her husband Jack Akins.
She attended her local church for forty years and volunteered at the American Cancer Society shop. Donations of any kind may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
