He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Cookson and Beatrice Vallee; and his sister Deborah Cookson. He is survived by: his wife Toni M. Cookson; his grandchildren, Arianne LaPorte and Marcus Ward; his great grandchild Cash Wilkerson; his siblings, Donna Cookson, June Vandermeere, David Cookson and Glenn Cookson; and his pet Lovey.
