It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheila Patricia Madden (Providence, Rhode Island), who passed away on June 14, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Sheila Patricia departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Sheila Patricia may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Sheila Patricia leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward "Eamon" Madden; her parents, Evelyn Jessie White (Fenn) and Charles William White; and her brothers, Michael, Patrick and Brian White of England.
She is survived by: her sister Eileen Wright (late Bill) of Australia; and her siblings-in-law, Linda White of England, Myra Gillen of Pawtucket, RI and Michael Madden (Mary) of Ireland. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Raymond Church.
