She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Brown; her parents, George T. Smith, Sr. and Ruth A. Smith (Fisher); and her brothers, George T. Smith, Jr., Richard Smith and Stephen H. Smith.
She is survived by: her son Richard Lucas (Sylvia Lucas) of Providence; and her siblings, Judith M. Woods of Warwick and William F. Smith of Long Beach, CA. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Nardolillo Funeral Home (1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI 02910). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory (1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI 02910).
