With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert Poirier (Providence, Rhode Island), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Edmund Poirier and Elizabeth "Betty" Smith; and his brother Edward Poirier. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Murphy; his sons, Robert (Deborah), Thomas (Dianne) and William (Martha); and his grandchildren, James, Ryan, Hannah and Matthew (Katherine).
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Monahan, Drabble & Sherman Funeral Home (210 Taunton Ave, East Providence, RI 02914). A Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (92 Hope St, Providence, RI 02906).
