He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Mello and Yvonne Mello (Provencher); his daughter Lori A. Mello of Bob's Deli; and his brothers, Richard Mello, Manuel Mello Jr. and Walter Mello.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Mello (Matteo) of Bob's Deli; his son Robert Mello (Laura); and his grandchildren, Elena and Matthew Mello.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann Church (280 Hawkins St, Providence, RI 02904). A committal service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the St. Francis Cemetery (2502 Smithfield Ave, Lincoln, RI 02860).
