Phyllis M. Burke Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis M. Burke of Providence, Rhode Island, born in Boston, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 21, 2025 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward F. Burke. She is survived by: her children, Edward Burke of Providence, RI, Elizabeth Burke Bryant (Daniel Bryant) of East Greenwich, RI, David Burke (Lynne Burke) of Barrington, RI and Melissa Burke of Burlingame, CA; her grandchildren, Sarah Burke (Steve Tracy), Caitlin Burke (Scott Laudati), Edward Burke (Kerrie Mitchell Burke), Eliza Bryant (Kim Paull), Benjamin Bryant, Caroline Burke (Todd Venook), Will Burke, Matthew Buntic and Katherine Buntic; her great grandchildren, Rose, Oren Bryant-Paull, Gus and Nell Burke Tracy; her sister Dorothea Reid of Mentor, OH; and her caregivers, Helena, Alcinda and Leila. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Russell Boyle and Son Funeral Home (331 Smith St, Providence, RI 02908). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Pius V Church (240 Eaton St, Providence, RI 02908).
