He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Zurier (Rosen) of Allentown, Pennsylvania.; his parents, Louis Zurier and Frances Zurier (Gordon); and his sisters, Hilda Glickman and Rosalind Gever.

He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Zurier (Thomas Willette) of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Samuel Zurier (Lauren) of Providence, Benjamin Zurier (Linda Movish) of New York City and Sarah Zurier (Jonathan Bell) of Providence; and his grandchildren, Rachel Zurier (Daniel Fishman), Jack, Hannah, William, Joseph Zurier, Nathan, Aaron Willette and Zachary Bell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
