He is survived by: his children, Alan Shoer (Mary Lou Wernig) of East Greenwich, RI, Wende Shoer (Michael Lonergan) of Wilmot, NH and James Shoer of Worcester, MA; his grandchildren, Geoffrey Gilb (Meghan Conway), Hannah Gilb, Leah Shoer (Max Beckerman) and Sarah Shoer (Rami Skooti); and his brother Samuel Shoer of Marblehead, MA..
