She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Albert Desorcy; her parents, Alfred Labbe and Yvonne Labbe (Norman); her children, Ronald Desorcy (Jaqueline, Denise Santoro), Richard Desorcy (Lisa, Roger Desorcy) and Paul Desorcy (Joann); her sibling Rita Renaud (Leo); her sibling-in-law Richard Legare; and her sibling Cecile Legare. She was also cherished by 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
