With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lena Buehne of Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on November 11, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert J. Buehne; her parents, Angelo Melucci and Pia Melucci (Rossi); her son Robert L. Buehne; her grandson Robert Buehne; and her siblings, Frank Melucci (late Josephine), Nicholas Melucci and Dora Colgan (late Richard).
She is survived by: her children, David A. Buehne (Linda) of North Providence and Laura Porreca (Joseph, Jr.) of Johnston; her grandchildren, Angela Buehne, Lisa Buehne, Joseph Porreca, David Buehne and Jonathan Porreca; her great grandchildren, Joseph Porreca, Lily Buehne-Aldana, Anthony Parrillo and Ella Porreca; her sister-in-law Connie Melucci; and her grandson Matthew Porreca. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
