It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine M. Mendoza (Providence, Rhode Island), who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Fabio Mendoza; her parents, Roy Mallory and Olga Morales; her siblings, Mercedes Acevedo, Mario De Ferrari and Carlos Morales; and her child Marisol Montes De Oca.
She is survived by: her sibling Rosario Rodrigues; and her children, Olga, Ambiorix Gonzalez, Fabiola, Martín Fisher MD, Mireya Mendoza, Héctor José, Artistitza (Puchy), Félix Rojas, Rebecca, Luis Ortega, Belkis and Robert Voisinet.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Romano Funeral Home (627 Union Ave, Providence, RI 02909). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Charles Church (178 Dexter St, Providence, RI 02907).
