He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret M. "Peggy" Criscione (Luca); his parents, Emanuele Criscione and Concetta Criscione (Cintolo); his son Joseph J. P. Criscione, Jr.; and his siblings, Salvatore, Yolanda, Concetta Criscione, Emanuela Iacono, Rosa Pompei, Sadie Andreozzi and Elena Dolan.

He is survived by: his children, Maria L. Pimentel (Fred), John J. Criscione (Laura DeConti), Poppy of Kayla Pimentel, Corrin Wohlhieter (Brian), Kacey Pimentel, Julianna Criscione and Luca Criscione; and his siblings, John, Emanuele and Marianna Criscione.
