He is survived by: his siblings, Maurice, Demond, Cristile, Erene and Origene; his son James Duré; his grandson Deshaun Duré; his wife Rita Duré (Breton); his children, Evens, Marc, Johnny, Jose, Pierre and Marie Solange; his grandchildren, Marc, Jovani, Matthew, Tina, Faisal, Isaac, Avery, Neriah, Jonathan, Michael, Ricky and Richard; his great grandchildren, Serenade, Marc, Cameron, Mikey and Torrie; and his siblings, Clair and Formelus. He is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Viewing was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Russell J Boyle and Son Funeral Homes (331 Smith St, Providence, RI 02908). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lady Chapel at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus (99 Camp St, Providence, RI 02906).
