We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2024, at the age of 90, Jose M. Fernandez of Providence, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco J. Fernandez and Cristina D. Fernandez (Santos); and his siblings, Juana Fernandez and Cesar Fernandez. He is survived by: his spouse Dominicana Fernandez (Nova); his children, Rosa Dimillo Fernandez (Raymond), Martha Fernandez (Arkymedes Castro), Ana Fernandez (Omar Salas), Jose Fernandez Jr., Luis Fernandez and Marianne Fernandez (Jose Guaba); and his brothers, Rafael Fernandez, Rafael Polanco and Miguel Polanco. He is also survived by grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
