With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John L. Prest of Providence, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2024 at the age of 57. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John L. Prest to pay them a last tribute.

In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his father Edward Prest; and his brother James Prest. He is survived by: his wife Angela Prest (DiFusco); his mother Margo Prest Donovan (Randall); his children, Edward J. Prest and Victoria M. Prest; and his siblings, Stephanie Prest and Gary Prest. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home (200 Hawkins St, Providence, RI 02904). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
