It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John F. Johnson of East Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on November 16, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Johnson and Alice Johnson (Jordan); and his siblings, Marty Straiten, Florence Straiten, Rebecca Robinson, Joseph Johnson and Benjamin Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Gloria Johnson (Tiffany); his children, Madelyn, Ursula Martin, John Johnson, III, Pamela Johnson, Juanita Susa (Ebrima Suse), Lenore Daly (Jon Daly) and Tony Johnson; his brother William Johnson; and his daughter Valerie Dempsey. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren.
