He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cross and Rosemary Cross (Lepry); and his sisters, Mary Dugas and Joan Ann McNamee. He is survived by: his significant other Rungnapha "Rung" Singkan; his children, John L. Cross Jr., Elizabeth Fortier and Karolyn Labrecque; his grandchildren, Azzurra Cross, Abraham Labrecque, Harrison Labrecque, Nina Fortier and Luke Fortier; and his siblings, Anthony Cross, James Cross, Ellen Daniels and Margaret Domina.
