James F. McAleer Obituary
The passing of James F. McAleer of Providence, Rhode Island leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 5, 2025 at the age of 81. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Patrick Owens McAleer; and his brother Joseph T. McAleer (Maureen). He is survived by: his wife Diane Lillis McAleer; his son Steven Lapham McAleer (Charlotte Ostberg McAleer); his grandchildren, Thomas, Dana, Ella and Nicholas; his siblings, Sheila McAleer Middleton (Jim Middleton), John E. McAleer (Beverly) and Francis P. McAleer (Leda Michaud); and his brothers-in-law, Bernard F. Lillis (Palma) and Robert P. Lillis (Carole). He is also survived by extended family includes many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Marriott Providence Downtown (1 Orms St, Providence, RI 02904). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
