She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Mary Landry, Agnes Pursell, Charles Landry, David Pursell and David Foster, Sr.; her aunt Laureen Fanning; and her uncle Wayne Swanson.
She is survived by: her mother Charlene Pursell (Mike); her husband David Cain; her daughters, Eva and Poppy; her parents-in-law, Shelley Wallis (Jess) and David Cain (Judy); her father David Foster (Donna); her sisters, Bailey Picariello (Chris) and Braendi Pursell; and her siblings-in-law, Ryan Cain (Susan), Hayden Cain, Jeremy Wallis and Jennifer Siebenaler. She is also survived by aunties, cousins, nieces and nephew.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Olson & Parent Funeral Home (417 Plainfield St, Providence, RI 02909). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Swan Point Cemetery, Redwood Chapel (585 Blackstone Blvd, Providence, RI 02906).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the French American School of Rhode Island in memory of Gillian who spent many hours volunteering in the library and chaperoning field trips.
