He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Howarth Jr. and Virginia B. Howarth (Fontaine); and his brother Robert Howarth. He is survived by: his daughter Haley L. Howarth; his wife Jeanne M. Howarth (Stanzione); his sister Lorraine Tompson; his brother-in-law Lawrence Tompson (Lynn Matson); and his nieces and nephews, Sonja Matson, Tommy Tompson, Heather Matson and Eric Tompson.
