He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Garrett and Matthew "Raymond" Verner; and his grandmother Ada Kilgore. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Kilgore; his children, Eugene Jr., Genea, Genesha, Donnell, Derryck, Justin, Gennelle and Geneajha; his stepdaughter Diondra; and his siblings, Donnelle Kilgore and Tara Freeman.
