With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest J. Barboza of Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on November 15, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. Barboza and Philomena Barboza (Faria); his daughter Barbara Elizabeth Barboza; and his siblings, Noel Barboza, Yvonne Clark, Joseph Barboza, Evelyn Coelho and Marion Deady.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Barboza (Sears); his children, Joan Robinson of Seekonk, MA, Eileen Marie Andrade (Gordon) of Douglas, MA and Ernest Michael Barboza of Providence; his grandsons, Tomas Robinson and Michael Barboza (Lany); and his great grandchildren, Lucia Robinson, Julianna Barboza, Jayce Barboza and Jackson Barboza.
