As Edith departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Edith may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Edith leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore "Ted" Beach and Donella Dobbins Beach. She is survived by: her spouse S. Navy; her children, Debra Livingston (late Larry) of Cranston, RI, James "Ricky" McCants, Jr. of Bloomington, MN, Donna DeJesus (late Ismael) of West Warwick, RI, Dana Derisier (Guidou) of Providence, RI and Stephan McCants of Cranston, RI; and her brother LeRoy Beach of Pittsburgh, PA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, numerous cousins along with a host of beloved relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor can be made to the VNA of Care New England and the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center.
