Though Dilia may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Dilia leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Emilio Fernandez and Aminta Ferreira Fernandez. She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Batista; her sister Celida Fernandez; and also, Alejandrina Ferreira and Bruce Dunham.
