With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Christina T. Varney of Providence, Rhode Island, born in Keene, New Hampshire, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 11, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Varney; her parents, Rev. Peter Kaissaris and Koula Kaissaris; her daughter Maria Santoro; and also, James Hallas and Frank Jacovone.

She is survived by: her sons, Peter Hallas (Rosemary) and Ernest Hallas; and her grandchildren, Alexis Santoro, Anthony Santoro, Damian Santoro, Stephen Hallas, Bethany Viveiros and Alexander Hallas. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
