It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carla Dowben (Providence, Rhode Island), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on January 9, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Dowben; and her parents, Harold H Lurie and Gertrude Lurie. She is survived by: her children, Peter, Jonathan and Susan; and her friend March. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
