He was predeceased by: his parents, David McArthur Sr. and Louise Shaeffer. He is survived by: his wife Mirtes McArthur of Warwick; his brothers, David McArthur Jr. and Scott McArthur (Gail McArthur); his stepfather Robert Smith Sr.; his half-siblings, Robert Smith Jr., Christopher Smith and Tracy Ryan; and his stepsiblings, Crystal Mcfarlane and Larry Crouse.
