She was predeceased by: her parent Benvinda Monteiro; and her siblings, Marguerite Monteiro, Charles Monteiro and Armando Pires. She is survived by: her children, Christine Louvat, Annie Cluley, Gisele Barbosa, Joseph Gomes, Jules Gomes, Rosemarie Mendes and Nathalie Gomes; and her siblings, Aurora Edouard, Victorine Monteiro, Elisabeth Monteiro, Mary Louise Saillant and Bernard Monteiro. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
