He is survived by: his wife Ramona Velázquez (De Jesus); his children, Wanda Huertas of Worcester, Martin Velázquez of Providence and Omari Flanagan of New Haven, CT; his grandchildren, Sabrina Gonzalez, Alyssa Gonzalez, Gabriel Huertas, Kassandra Velázquez, Kayla Velázquez, Kiara Velázquez and Kaylani Velázquez; his children-in-law, Noel Huertas and Doris Velázquez; and his siblings, Magdalena, Iluminada, Consuelo, Elizabeth and Benjamin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
