We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2023, at the age of 82, Antonio J. Chavier (Providence, Rhode Island) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Antonio J. Chavier to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Chavier and Maria Xavier (Tavares); his daughter Catherine Chavier; and his brother John Xavier. He is survived by: his spouse Lucilia Chavier (Silva); his children, Rose M. Caron and Anthony J. Chavier Jr. (Christine); his siblings, Manuel Xavier, Maria Andrade and George Ribeiro; his grandchildren, Ryan, Nicole and Michael; and his great grandchild Nazanin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, http://www.jdrf.org or please dedicate a Mass in memory of Antonio.
